5 seasons brewing company - west side

I love the fact that they try to use organic and local ingredients. I also enjoyed the watermelon and peach ales. I love their skybar (a.k.a. Patio on the roof). But the name of this blog is snoblog and I wouldn't be a snob if I didn't critique the food...

Someone on the staff must be Mexican since they have quesadillas and chilaquiles on the menu.

We tried the quesadilla which was OK. The beet salad was good too. But that's where it ended.

Renee ordered the kobe flat iron steak. Maybe it from Japan, maybe it is just someone from Japan cooking it but the reality is that it was not kobe nor good. It was under cooked the first time around and overcooked the second time around. The second cut of meat (after head chef was. involved) was much better than the first.

My grilled ravioli were more like wontons and aside from the cajun spices it was pretty bland.

I guess we'd consider coming back for beer and possibly appetizers but certainly not a meal.

Truly disappointing for what had all the hopes of being an awesome meal. And I had to leave Toby home. OY!
